The properties of the pumice stone become particularly important in soft or unstable ground, e.g. in road and waterway construction, to reduce loads and prevent landslides. Pumice stone is therefore particularly suitable in road construction for the production of surfaces with high bearing capacity for roads and construction sites on soft and wet subsoil.
